A Cafe That
Helps Provide Comfort

Logo (for web)Comfort Food is our ‘soon to open’ Community Cafe in the South Side of Glasgow situated in the heart of communities offering nostalgic, healthy, comforting dishes to suit all pockets and cultures.

Our menu is inspired by our wonderful and varied cultures living and working in the heart of our community. We took influence from their cooking, ingredients and cooking styles. We asked people what is considered ‘comfort food’ from their country of origin?

bigstock-Man-with-Note-Pad-and-Communit-90169721We think we have came up with something a little different to tempt your tastes? We open in late March- early April. You can sit in or take away. Our full menu will be added here soon. Watch this space!

We run a programme called “Comfort Another” where anyone can provide a free meal for someone less fortunate and in need by paying forward anything from our menu.

Our main difference between Comfort Food and the rest is that we are a ‘Social Business’. This means that 100% (every single penny) of our profits are donated to the No Feart projects to help stop the cycle of abuse.

To Pay forward a drink or meal for someone in need? simply click the ‘donate’ button opposite and you can pay for a cuppa from £1.10, perhaps a child’s meal for £2.50 or an adult lunch up to the value of £6.50. We will provide you with feedback on how many folks are treated in our community on our ‘No Feart’ page on a regular basis. Thanks in advance!
